Abstract
Cholesterol is one of the most significant components of all eukaryotic cell membranes. Cholesterol is a hallmark of eukaryotes and evolved as an adaptation to increase in atmospheric oxygen. Recent research revealed that cholesterol is not a nutrient of concern for over consumption. The report discussed the role of cholesterols in heart attack. All the facts suggest that cholesterol has been a highly misunderstood molecule and is actually highly beneficial to the human body.
