Foundation day
RASS Acelebrated 1st Foundation day at BBAU, Lucknow on 29.10.2017. Sri Jai Pratap Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Excise department, Liquor prohibition, of Uttar Pradesh Government was the Chief Guest of the day. The session was presided by Er. Awadhesh Kumar Singh, President RASSA. Dr Rana Pratap Singh State President, Dr Jytosnendra Singh Convener of Seminar and Dr Shiv Pratap Singh shared the dais. After lighting thelamp by Chief Guest and members ofthedais, a tribute was paid to Dr Bhimrao Ambadekar. The program was anchored by Dr Rajesh Kumar Singh. State President welcomed the Chief Guest and members. He briefly described the RASSA and purpose of the meeting. A book titled ‘Jo Dekha Maine’ written by our RASSA President was released by the Chief Guest. Chief Guest honoured the recipients of various award instituted by RASSA.
In his presidential address, the President put his thought on RASSA before Chief Guest about what is RASSA, its aim and activities. This was foundaplace in this publication as ‘अध्यक्षीय उद्गार ’. The Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of intellectuals to create such platform for helping people through science. Convener of National Seminar presented vote of thanks to Chief Guest, all participants and teams for working day and night for the success of the program.

RASSA honoured Miss Diksha Singh on her selection in Indian Engineering Service just after her graduation in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology. She was born in village Barwaripur, district Sultanpur of UP and studied in rural areas.
RASSA also honoured Miss Nirupma Singh for her outstanding achievement in graduation (B.Sc Ag) studies at Narendra Dev University of Agriculture & Technology, Kumarganj in this year. She is also the recipient of Chancellor Medal. She was born in village Pallia district Mau of UP. She was also having an outstanding record at school and +2 level. Presently she is pursuing Master’s programme in Genetics and Breeding from the same university. RASSA wishes for their bright future.
