His research in ‘Biometrical Genetics’ became a referral point for students, teachers and researchers throughout the world. He is leading light in development of agriculture in rural mases. Presently he is living at Lucknow.

Prof Bachchan Singh
Renowned Agricultural Engineer, Dean College of Technology GBPUAT Pantnagar and Director, MPMD ITM Gorakhpur. He is one of the Pioneers to design and develop Zero Ferti Seed drill which is very popular in the country. In addition to this, he has developed soybean thresher, multi crop seed metering device, fruit grader, soybean dehulling machine, tractor driven rotary paddy puddler, pigeon pea threshing machine, powered harrow plough and animal-cum- engine operated wheat harvester. He is NAAS Fellow. Presently he is living at Lucknow.
