Recipient of Swamy Sahajan and Saraswati Extension Scientist Award for the year 1999-2000; ICAR Award for Outstanding Multidisciplinary Team Research in Agricultural and allied Science as a team leader for the year 2001-2002; The Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Award for Outstanding Research in Tribal Farming System in 2010 for their contribution in the field of Tribal Farming System and the Dr. Rajendra Prasad Puraskar for Technical Book in Hindi in Agricultural and allied Science 2018. Presently he is Deputy Director General (Agricultural Extension), ICAR, New Delhi.
